A very rare species of Shark – Frilled Shark
Frilled shark is a species of shark which lives in deep sea. The shark has a brown long eel like body and can grow up to 2 meters.
This shark and not observed much because it stays in deep sea. The frilled shark can attack its prey like a snake. Its jaws are flexible and it has small needle like teeth.
The shark mostly preys on cephalopods and fishes. This shark may have been confused with sea serpent.
Human interactions with these sharks are very rare because of the fact the shark remains in deep sea however it is accidentally caught in fish nets.
A live shark was caught in Japan but it died shortly afterwards because it wasn’t in its natural environment.
